The one-way video interview platform with scores you can check

Candidates answer on their own time. AI can ask one follow-up on the questions you choose and scores experience answers against your criteria. Each score has a reason, quoting the candidate's exact words when they covered the point.

Question 1

Tell me about a time you dealt with an upset customer. What did you do?

Scores against the criteria you wrote

Scores are written by AI and can be wrong. The recording is the record.

Answer0:22 / 1:42

0:03Last spring a customer emailed us three times in one morning about an order that was nine days late.

0:14She'd paid for express shipping, so she was right to be annoyed.

0:22I called her back the same afternoon, apologized, and refunded the shipping while we were on the phone.

0:38Then I wanted to know why it happened, because she wasn't the only one.

0:47We changed how the warehouse checks express orders at packing, and late express orders dropped from about twenty a month to two.

AI follow-up: asks how the fix was found

You said she wasn't the only one. How did you work out what was causing the delays?

0:02I pulled the last thirty late orders into a sheet and sorted them by who packed them and when.

0:15Almost all of them went out on the morning shift, right after the label printer had been reset.

0:29The reset switched it back to standard labels, so I got the team to check the label against the order before sealing the box.

Built so candidates actually finish

A one-way interview only works if people complete it. Here is what every candidate gets, whatever plan you are on.

  1. 1

    Open the link

No account and no app. The first screen says how many questions there are, roughly how long it takes, and whether a follow-up is coming.

  2. 2

    Answer each question

Candidates can answer by video, voice or text, unless the question asks for a file. You can turn off video or voice for a question. By default they can re-record each answer twice.

  3. 3

    Answer one follow-up

On the questions you pick, AI asks one follow-up about the part they said least about. Everyone on that question gets exactly one.

  4. 4

    Submit

They see what happens next, how long their answers are kept, and how to have them deleted.

They can say no to AI and still apply

If a role uses AI, candidates choose before they start whether it may process their answers. If they say no, nothing is sent to an AI service, their follow-up is one you wrote in advance, and they go into a separate group that is flagged at the top of your candidate list, for a person to review. We never sell anything to candidates.

The first screen a candidate sees.

How the AI scores

For each question you write up to three criteria, in one sentence each, about what a good answer should cover. The AI scores every criterion from 1 to 5 using only what the candidate said. Each score has a one-line reason, and any score above 1 quotes the answer.

What it never looks at

Faces, expressions, voice, accent, speaking speed or emotion. We don't send the model the video or the audio, and we don't add the candidate's name, email or where the job is. Anything candidates say about themselves stays in the transcript it reads.

What it never does

Reject anyone. Scores sort your list; you decide who moves on.

What each score means
ScoreWhat it means for one criterion
1Not mentioned. An answer under 10 words also gets a 1, with the reason “answer too short”.
2Mentioned, but vague, with nothing specific.
3Explained, but without a specific example or method.
4Gives a specific example or method.
5Gives a specific example or method, and the result: a number, a change, or someone’s feedback.
Not scoredNo speech detected, too unclear to transcribe reliably, answered in a different language, or the quote could not be found word for word in the answer.

For agencies sending shortlists to clients

Small agencies screen for several employers at once, and send each one a shortlist. These parts are built for that.

Client workspacesTeam
Keep each employer client's jobs and candidates apart, and filter everything by client.
Shortlist linksTeam
Send a client one link with the candidates you picked. Scores stay hidden unless you choose to show them.
Your brandingStarter
Your logo and color on candidate pages and emails, and your own welcome message on the pages.
IntegrationsStarter
Send results to your ATS or spreadsheet, or trigger invites from it, through Zapier, webhooks and REST API. On every plan: CSV export.

Priced by answers, with unlimited jobs and seats

Every plan includes AI scoring and follow-ups. You pay for how many candidates submit each month, not for how many jobs you have open or how many people on your team log in.
